ANNIE'S ARTIST STUDIOS
Annie’s Artist Studios is an adaptive reuse of the historic Montgomery Ward building, formerly an office building with ground-level restaurant space. The project was named after the developer’s mother, artist Anne John, and designed with artists in mind. The building interior was transformed into a mix of market-rate apartments and studios as well as rentable exhibition space. Design elements include high ceilings, large windows to provide an abundance of natural light, and exposed timbers throughout.

Olympia is home to more than 100 artesian wells. There is an artisan well that flows through the lower level of Annie’s Artist Studios that we celebrate by bringing out into the atrium for people to listen to the flowing water and enjoying a special experience that makes Olympia unique.
