HOGUM BAY TOWN CENTER
The new Hogum Bay Town Center and residential buildings are envisioned as a new walkable town center within the City of Lacey. Six new commercial buildings at the west end of the site will be supported by four mixed use residential buildings to the east. Each residential building consists of 80-90 units ranging from studios to one bedroom, two bedrooms, and ground floor walkups. The primary façade material is brick, and mixed with purposeful building modulation and material changes, patios and balconies create an inviting and timeless urban feel. A community room, lounge, and fitness center are included in the ground floor amenities and spill out onto a large open space with a community garden, play area, BBQ's, and a covered pergola. The commercial buildings focus on providing expansive glass storefronts and outdoor patios while special consideration has been given to pedestrian connectivity. Ample courtyard and greenspace areas have been included throughout the site.
