Thomas Architecture Studios (TAS) is an award-winning, full-service, design-driven architectural studio located in a historic building in downtown Olympia. We are seeking experienced, self-motivated applicants for immediate placement on multiple civic and mixed-use/housing projects.

Our office headquarters is within two blocks of the waterfront boardwalk, surrounded by many restaurants and numerous cultural destinations. With a Walk Score of 77 in our downtown, and highly sought-after school districts.

WE ARE CURRENTLY HIRING FOR THE FOLLOWING POSITIONS:

PROJECT MANAGER I, II, SENIOR
(8-10 years of experience, architectural license preferred)  
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills:  ​​
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Architecture
  • Ability to oversee multiple architectural associates
  • Ability to lead multiple projects from concept design through completion, in-line with project timeline and budget
  • Strong verbal, written, and graphic presentation skills
  • Strong knowledge of construction materials and methods, and building codes 
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an open studio environment 
  • Proficient in Revit, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office Suite

PROJECT ARCHITECT I, II
(3-8 years of experience, architectural license required)

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills: ​
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Architecture
  • Current registration as a state-licensed architect
  • Experience in all phases of design
  • Strong verbal, written, and graphic presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an open studio environment 
  • Proficient in Revit, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office Suite

ARCHITECTURAL ASSOCIATE I, II, III
(3-6 years of experience preferred)

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills: 
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Architecture
  • Strong time management and organization skills
  • Ability to balance multiple projects and deadlines
  • Ability to work independently or as a team player
  • Proficient in Revit, Adobe, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office Suite
