The Malt House is a 57 dwelling unit development located at the intersection of Legion Way and Jefferson Street, Olympia. The building’s location in the Art-tech district encouraged the addition of art recessions on the street-facing walls which display art emulating the character of a bygone Brewery era, The industrial character of the area is maintained by red storefront windows, exposed brick, bare structural steel members and ducts. The ground level has a commercial space, residential lobby, and an enclosed parking structure along with accessory spaces. A mix of dwelling units containing studios, one bedroom and two bedrooms are located on the upper levels. The project also includes a landscaped terrace located on the second level that is dedicated to the tenants for open space in an urban setting.
