Driven by the desire to showcase the distilling process, along with their award-winning whiskeys, the distillery and tasting room structure uses carefully positioned storefront openings to create a display case for the eye-catching distilling equipment. Looking forward, the project anticipates growth with careful consideration. Structural bays cascade to create a logical location for the future expansion of the main structure to include Sandstone’s sister company, Wild Heart Sipping Vinegar. Additionally, the existing grove of trees behind the site screens a pair of short-term dwelling units tucked into the far end of the property.
