TAS was selected to create a vision for the adaptive reuse of an existing office building on the isthmus in Olympia, incorporating materials that invoked an essence of the nearby marina—including tall vertical elements like masts and tinted glass to resemble the sky. A portion of the façade facing the inlet was set aside for a large, 6-story art mural to serve as a welcoming art beacon to ships as they head into port, while paying homage to our regional history and culture.
