The Tyee Dental project is a renovation of an existing 1,087 SF basement and a new 2,702 SF floor 1 addition. The new proposed structure resembles the previously standing building with an added new feature of a “lantern” lobby designed space. This space acts as a light well and provides a significant amount of natural lighting as patients are waiting for their appointment. The available space has been designed to accommodate two dental tenant improvement spaces and contributes architecturally to the downtown of Tumwater with the proposed use of lap siding material and a standing seam metal roof. The interior has carefully selected warm finish such as golden paint, wood finishes, dark carpet and luxury vinyl tile and brushed nickel fixtures throughout the space.
