WE ARE CURRENTLY HIRING FOR THE FOLLOWING POSITIONS:

Thomas Architecture Studios (TAS) is an award-winning, full-service, design-driven architectural studio located in a historic building in downtown Olympia. We are seeking experienced, self-motivated applicants for immediate placement on multiple civic and mixed-use/housing projects.

TAS has three market areas that we focus on: civic facilities, urban design, and housing. Project sizes range from $1M - $120M. Our office headquarters is within two blocks of the waterfront boardwalk, surrounded by many restaurants and numerous cultural destinations, with a Walk Score of 88 in our downtown and highly sought-after school districts.

MANAGER OF CONSTRUCTION ADMINISTRATION
(8+ years of experience required)

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field
8+ years of experience managing construction projects, preferably in an architecture or design-driven environment
Strong understanding of architectural drawings, specifications, and building codes
Proficiency in project management software and document collaboration
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
Ability to work collaboratively with creative teams and technical professionals
PMP or CCM certification is a plus

PROJECT MANAGER
(8-10 years of experience, architectural license preferred) 

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills: 

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Architecture
Ability to oversee multiple architectural associates
Ability to lead multiple projects from concept design through completion, in-line with project timeline and budget
Strong verbal, written, and graphic presentation skills
Strong knowledge of construction materials and methods, and building codes
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an open studio environment
Proficient in Revit, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office Suite

PROJECT ARCHITECT
(3+ years of experience, architectural license required)

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills: 

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Architecture
Current registration as a state-licensed architect
Experience in all phases of design
Strong verbal, written, and graphic presentation skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an open studio environment
Proficient in Revit, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office Suite
