The Westman Mill site is owned by the Port of Olympia, and is part of the Port’s East Bay Redevelopment Plan. This development includes a 5-story mixed use building and two 3 story townhomes. TAS’s holistic approach with site planning recognized the need to integrate a large public plaza to the East as a future pedestrian tie-in to the parcels to the north, and future development. Other public/pedestrian amenities include a covered raised sidewalk along State Street and permanent art plinths throughout the site-enhancing the street edge and promoting pedestrian activity.
