The Westman Mill site is owned by the Port of Olympia and is part of the Port’s East Bay Redevelopment Plan. This development includes a 5-story mixed-use building and two 3-story townhomes. TAS’s holistic approach to the site planning recognized the need to integrate a large public plaza to the East as a future pedestrian tie-in to the parcels to the north and future development. Other public/pedestrian amenities include a covered raised sidewalk along State Street and permanent art plinths throughout the site, enhancing the street edge and promoting pedestrian activity.
